James Hill – Chief Strategy Officer / Fort Worth Market President
James Hill, Chief Strategy Officer / Fort Worth Market President, brings 12+ years of expert banking experience, specializing in commercial and real estate lending to our team and community. Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, James is a graduate of the Business Honors Program at the University of Texas at Austin as well as TCU, receiving his MBA in the Accelerated Program. He is currently adjunct faculty in the finance department of the business school at TCU and was elected to the Tarrant Regional Water District Board in May 2017. In addition, Mr. Hill is an accomplished public speaker on local issues affecting the community and economic climate.
As an integral member of the community, he currently serves on the Texas Bankers Association Government Relations Council, the Texas Wesleyan University President’s Advisory Council, the K-Life Board of Directors, the Executive Committee of the Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth, and is a member of the Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate. He is a Past-President of the Tarrant County Bankers Association, served as an appointee to the City of Fort Worth Commercial Board of Adjustment, and was appointed in 2012 by Governor Perry to a statewide Council. In addition, James was a recipient of the Fort Worth Business Press 40 under 40 in 2010.
James is an active member at Christ Chapel Church, River Crest Country Club, and the Fort Worth Club. James has been married to his wife, Macy Hill, for 15 years. They have two sons, George (13) and Charlie (11). They enjoy spending time in Telluride, Colorado or at their family farm near Llano, TX.
